We've had the utmost privilege of having this gorgeous, most talented girl with us for the summer, while she served as a worship leader at our church. Our little girls have absolutely adored her, so I convinced her to come on a photo shoot with us, so we could have a few pictures of her. I told her that when she becomes a rock star, she'll already have a cover picture for her album. (Of course, my girls would expect it to be one of them with her. Oh, to be a photographer's child. :-)) I absolutely LOVE the way it all come out, despite the 100 degree heat. Isn't she stunning?

I cannot BELIEVE this little guy is nine months already. I've been photographing him since he was just born. And he hasn't made my job easy, but he sure is a cutie. I think since he's child number 7, he thinks he needs a bit more attention. :-) Can you stand it?

It's not very often that I get to do an engagement session, as I don't take too many weddings on. It's a lot of pressure, people. And, quite frankly, I little the little people better. No offense. But these two lovebirds were just precious. This bride is a HOOT, and I cannot WAIT to photograph their wedding in October. Their precious son came along too, and, if I had to be honest, he stole the show. A.DOR.A.BLE!

I know a precious, sweet, beautiful girl who owns a fun hair salon, and she asked me to come out and do some pictures of her hair girls as well as the salon. It was definitely different for me, as I'm so used to working with kids who just do whatever they want, and I capture that. But, these girls were SO precious and fun, despite the EXTREME heat. (Is it attractive to have sweat literally dripping off of you during a photo shoot?) These girls are headed for the big screen - okay a billboard -so you'll see them larger than life soon, if you live around these parts. :-)

Isn't this momma-to-be GORGEOUS? And can we talk about her cute-as-pie husband who just couldn't stop smiling? In general, I have to work really hard to get some genuine smiles out of the guys (no offense to those of you who are compliant), but this daddy-to-be was just as smiley as he could be. And why not? They're getting ready for their very first baby - a boy! We had a super fun session out at the beach, despite the extreme heat, even at 8:00 in the morning! But these two were troopers, and I loved getting to know them. I can't wait to meet little R!! You know he's going to be GOOD LOOKIN'!

I was asked to do a photo shoot of some families that either lived here or were in town that had adopted beautiful Chinese little girls all at the same time. Of course, I about jumped out of my seat, as adoption is close to my heart, and what could be more beautiful than little Chinese girls and their adoring families? I.loved.every.second.of.it. These families just amazed me with the love that poured out of their hearts for each of these girls. I felt extremely blessed to be a small part of capturing these incredible, gorgeous families.
