I want to be a treasure seeker. I want to be a person who seeks out what's good, what's positive, what's a blessing, what can be learned, what can be gained, rather than focusing on what's bad, what's negative, what appears to be a curse . . . you get the idea. There's treasure seeking in photography and there's certainly treasure seeking in life. When I photograph, I'm looking for the beauty in each person. Shouldn't I do that in "real" life? {granting.grace}

So I've just come to accept the fact that this blog is not going to be updated as frequently as it used to. I'm coming to realize that I need to grant myself some extra grace these days. I think, particularly as moms, we expect SO much of ourselves and, in return, become impatient, grumpy, and lots of other not-so-nice things. And then things start to fall apart. Sometimes they fall apart on the inside, which is the most dangerous of all. Because, no one sees it. But it's only so long before the inside explodes. It's not pretty. So, today I'm trying to grant myself a little (ok, maybe a LOT) more grace. And so should you. Enjoy the latest and greatest. I continue to praise God for the lovely people he sends to Silly Goose.
